Pharvaris is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel, oral bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists to potentially address all types of bradykinin-mediated angioedema. By targeting this clinically proven therapeutic target with novel, oral small molecules, the Pharvaris team is advancing new alternatives to injected therapies for the prevention and treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks, and other bradykinin B2-receptor-mediated indications. HAE is a rare and potentially life-threatening genetic disease, and people living with HAE can suffer sudden and prolonged attacks of swelling in multiple areas of the body, including the airway, which can be life-threatening.

We are excited to be expanding our U.S. Commercial team and are looking for a Patient Digital Marketing Lead, to join our team and report to our Portfolio Marketing Lead.

Location
This is a hybrid role, and candidates must live within commuting distance to the Lexington, MA office.

The role

The Patient Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for shaping how Pharvaris connects with patients and caregivers digitally across the brand portfolio. In a disease area like HAE, where diagnosis and treatment journeys are often long, fragmented, and emotionally complex, this role ensures patient education and digital engagements are relevant, timely, and meaningful.
This high-impact, high-visibility role will define and oversee the immediate and long-term vision for the company’s digital presence for the patient/caregiver audience across several channels, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and business objectives.
Additionally, this person will be responsible for collaborating closely with several cross-functional teams, such as Patient Advocacy, Medical and the extended Marketing team, ensuring strategic and tactical alignment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the end-to-end omni-channel patient strategy, identifying business critical tactics to drive compelling digital engagement and education
  • Translate brand strategy into high-impact, compliant patient-facing tactics, owning the execution of all non-personal promotion, inclusive of unbranded and branded websites, media, social media, and CRM
  • Optimize digital performance through analytics and audience insights, and maximize ROI across paid, owned and earned digital channels across the Pharvaris brand portfolio
  • Clearly communicate and champion patient brand strategy with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Partner with MLR to deliver high impact patient marketing initiatives, driving strategic value, innovation, and executional excellence.
  • Develop deep expertise in patient journeys by generating insights, identifying unmet needs and friction points, and translating those insights into actionable tactics
  • Manage external agencies to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, while maintaining focus on strategic priorities, executional excellence, and efficient resource allocation
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3 years of focused experience in U.S. marketing
  • Experienced developing and executing both branded and unbranded marketing initiatives
  • Experience in rare disease and/or specialty markets with meaningful competitive complexity required
  • Prior U.S. launch experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible partnerships across internal teams and external stakeholders, including patient organizations
  • Strong scientific and medical acumen, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, appropriate, and compelling communications for patient/caregiver audiences
  • Proven history of engaging rare disease communities with empathy, authenticity, and a strong understanding of the human experience behind the disease
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly, confidently, and effectively to senior leadership and external partners
  • Experience leading complex marketing initiatives through MLR review and approval processes
  • Consistent record of ownership, accountability, and delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving commercial environment and adapt effectively as priorities shift
  • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 30%
  • This is a hybrid role, and candidates must live within commuting distance to the Lexington, MA office.

  • Team‑first mindset with a strong sense of urgency to support Pharvaris’ first‑launch environment, and the development of the brand portfolio digital narrative
  • Fosters and develops strong relationships with agencies, MLR, field teams, Patient Advocacy, Patient Services, Access, and Medical to deliver cohesive campaigns
  • Self‑starter mentality — highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams independently, meet deadlines, and drive deliverables without constant oversight.
  • Creative and solution‑oriented approach, capable of anticipating operational needs, solving problems, and improving processes that support launch readiness and field effectiveness.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize information and provide clear updates to leadership and field teams.


Pharvaris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $170,000-$210,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including but not limited to depth of experience, skill set, overall performance, and education. Pharvaris believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package. Base salary is just one component of our competitive total rewards strategy.
